Interview - Jack

Angel: *dressed like a Greek goddess* Grr... How does a guy like him manage to completely elude us for days?

Kei: *dressed as Yuko Ichihara* He can avoid the normal media and Carly.... most times, it'll take a miracle for us to get this done by today.

Angel: Well, he's gotta come here sometime today. This cafe is having a Halloween special half-off sale on everything, including his favorite coffee.

Kei: And since we don't look like ourselves he shouldn't be able to recognize us till it's too late.

Angel: *nods* And Yusei said he'd be dressed like Stardust Dragon.

Kei: I'd soooo rather be hanging with Crow and the kids. *yawn*

Angel: You just wanna see Crow dressed up like Apollo.

Kei: Bingo, give the girl a prize.

Jack: *dressed as Stardust Dragon, taking a seat at one of the tables* One of my usuals, please.

Angel: *grin* Target sighted. *glomp-tackles Jack*

Jack: What the!!

Kei: ugh Angel-neechan... really? Time for me to play crowd control so she can do this. *sets up magical barriers*

Angel: Mitsukedasu!

Jack: A-Angel!? Wh-what are you doing here?

Angel: Tracking you down after you eluded us for the past few days.

Jack: You make it sound like I've been hiding.... And what do you mean us?

Angel: *points at Kei* Myself and Imouto-chan.

Jack: You've got to be kidding me. That's the girl Crow was talking about for the past few days.

Kei: Told you it'd have been easier just waiting at their place.

Angel: Yes, that's her. Which has he called her yet?

Jack: He's been too nervous too.

Angel: Hmmmm. No wonder she's been itching to see him in person. But anyways, Jack... *hugs tighter* I wanna interview ya.

Jack: So they weren't joking....

Angel: What do you mean? *raises eyebrow* ....You mean Crow and Yusei?

Jack: Yeah they said you girls were on some interview kick and that you may come for me next.

Angel: *frown* They said it like that?

Jack: Not quite. But they warned me you were..... very affectionate...

Angel: You say that like it's a bad thing. *lets go*

Jack: Well just that there were some awkward situations.

Angel: So I tend to be flirty and fangirlish and a bit clingy. So sue me.

Jack: Alright... I do this you pay for my coffee?

Angel: Deal. By the way, nice costume.

Jack: Not my first choice but it's alright. Someone suggested Yusei and I dress as each other's dragons.

Angel: So he mentioned. Which I should stop by and see him as Red Demon later. *giggle*

Jack: Just be careful not to set off his pepper spray.

Angel: I'm aware. And I'll make sure I don't touch those claws of yours.

Jack: The claws only activate when I position my thumb a certain way but aside from that the claws are actually pretty sharp.

Angel: Again, I'm not gonna touch them. *gulp*

Jack: So let's get straight to this.

Angel: Agreed. *sits down*

Jack: So what are your first questions?

Angel: First off, could you state your name for the record?

Jack: Jack Atlas.

Angel: Now do you spell that 'Atlas' or 'Atlus', cause I've seen both ways.

Jack: A-t-l-a-s.

Angel: Noted. Alright then, I don't suppose you could tell us some things about ya, like your personal stats?

Jack: Private. All you need to know is I'm 19 and single.

Angel: Ok. Also noted. Though I'm sure more than enough girls would be willing to change that status.

Jack: Not interested at the moment. Not until I find some decent work or get my title back at least.

Angel: You mean your title as King of Duels, correct?

Jack: That's right *nod*

Angel: Well, that may take a while but I suppose it's not impossible for you to get it back.

Jack: Trust me I will beat Yusei again one day and then that title is all mine again.

Angel: I didn't say you wouldn't. I just said it may take a while.

Jack: Next?

Angel: Well, you mentioned finding decent work. What exactly did you mean by that?

Jack: A job I can live with, do, and not hate the people around me because of. And that doesn't bore me to tears.

Angel: Well, do you have any examples?

Jack: Modeling I guess would be one. Something where I could express myself and not drive myself mad.

Angel: *deep blush at mental images*

Jack: If I could make money dueling that'd be one thing. It's something I'm good at and love doing. But I can't pull that off until I get to be Champion again.

Angel: Fair enough, but let's move on before I end up raping you.... *blush*

Jack: Say wha... you know what never mind. Next question.

Angel: Right. Lemme see here... *pulls out notes* Well, something I asked Yusei was in regards to your living arrangements. So what's your opinion of living with Crow and Yusei?

Jack: It's impossible. Crow and Yusei both nag me all the time to the point where I'll leave fo hours at a time just so I can hear myself think. They blame me for everything including high electricity use and water usage all that but the thing is I don't use anything that uses electricity but the microwave and sometimes an oven or stove. And Carly's been kind enough to allow me to use her appartment so I can shower and wash my clothes and even then I try not to abuse that. I attempt to make as little trouble for Crow and Yusei as possible but they act like I'm purposely not getting work.

Angel: Well, they both mentioned that it would be nice if you pulled your weight around the place, but I guess I can understand your point of view. Granted the electricity is probably the fault of all three of you.

Jack: Again I use it as little as possible... that's all Yusei and his new buddy Bruno's doing.

Angel: Well, I'm talking about how the lot of you have been working on your Duel Runners for the WRGP. But moving on.... Carly seems like a nice enough girl.

Jack: She's alright. Tries to help me as much as she can

Angel: *nods* She didn't deserve to have that whole incident happen to her. Which a lot of people seem to thing you care about her a lot more than you let on.

Jack: What?! Who's been saying stuff like that!!?

Angel: Probably about half of your entire fangirl population. Though the other half would insist that you're totally gay for Yusei.

Jack: *half chokes on his coffee* WHAT?!

Kei: *hands Jack a paper towel* Easy big guy, no need to freak out.

Angel: *looks at Kei* All done being crowd control?

Kei: *Shrug* For the moment

Angel: Have a seat. I think Jack just confirmed the boys are all totally straight.

Kei: Thought you said Yusei might be bi for Kalin.

Jack: *looks sick*

Angel: *shrugs* Well, he implied it. Never outright said it. And you said Crow would probably do Yusei if he swung that way.

Kei: That was a maybe at best.

Jack: NEXT QUESTION....

Angel: Okay, let's go with something a bit different. Who's your favorite Vocaloid and what's your favorite solo song by them?

Jack: Um... I... I guess I like Len and... the twins version of Cendrillion.

Angel: Oh? Why that version? *gets closer*

Jack: I just do.

Angel: *slight pout* If you say so. Well, staying on the subject of music, do you have a favorite artist or band?

Jack: Not particularly any one person. But hard rock or metal is my favorite genre

Angel: Hard rock? Like Nightwish sort of stuff?

Jack: Yeah like them but I like all kinds.

Angel: So kinda the gothic rock bands? What about hobbies? Aside from dueling what do you like to do?

Jack: Exercise, you know keeping myself in shape. Lots of physical activity.

Angel: Not too hard to picture you lifting weights. *blush*

Jack: I used to go to the gym on a regular basis.

Kei: Not surprising.

Angel: *nod* I guess with everything that's been going on it's been a bit hard to find time to go?

Jack: I actually have been working out but in different ways, swimming, heavy lifting. Things like that.

Angel: Heavy lifting? How much are we talking here?

Jack: 40lbs or so. Lets me work my mucsles safely and without a spotter.

Angel: Wow... *blush* That would explain the biceps.

Jack: Next question?

Angel: Well, we know you grew up in Satellite with Crow and Yusei. So could you tell us one of your more... interesting events from your childhood?

Jack: It was alright. I mean we had loads of fun but... the most interesting.... Yusei's roach incident I think.

Angel: Could you give us some details?

Jack: He'd been sick a few days with a high fever. So Crow and I had gone to play when we heard Yusei start screaming. A roach had crawled in to his ear while he was asleep and he freaked.

Angel: Poor thing. *sweatdrop* Mmmm. Moving on. *looks at Kei* I believe one of the better questions that Kei asked Crow was along the lines of, if you could go back and do one thing differently, what would it be?

Jack: I sure as hell wouldn't have left the others behind.... I'd have bargained to bring them with me. Or bring them along after me.

Angel: Awww. When you talk like that it proves you're not as much of a jerk that the dub made you seem. But rather than argue about the differences between dub and sub, let's move on. And Kei found out something interesting when she interviewed Crow. *grin*

Jack: *raises eyebrow* Being?

Angel: Crow apparently told her that you, he and Yusei used to watch a particular shoujou anime when you three were kids.

Jack: Ehe? Oh I guess I know which one he mentioned. Sailor Moon?

Angel: Yup yup. So, would you mind sharing which pretty senshi was your favorite? And why?

Jack: Oh... Uranus she was a woman who I'd have loved to race against. She was an amazingly fast racer. And honestly I wanted to out run my past in Satellite.

Angel: Hmmm. I see. So did you have a crush on her too?

Jack: Mmmmm not especially....

Angel: Ah. If I had known about this beforehand I would've asked Yusei about it too. But what other shows do you enjoy watching? I noticed at one point you teased Zora about her soap operas.

Jack: I'm not big on soaps. The people are so idiotic I like shows like Ninja Warrior and stuff like Burn Notice and NCIS.

Angel: To each their own, as I say. But Ninja Warrior is awesome! *big grin* What about movies?

Jack: Lots of comedy and... well, some romance.

Angel: Got any particular favorites? Actually, hold off on that for the moment. *checks notes* Lemme see here.... I'm starting to run out of some of my usual stuff, so should we start to wrap this up?

Jack: Okay.

Angel: Well then, could you tell us your favorite food, book and movie? As if some of those we don't already know.

Jack: Food? Ramen and spicy foods like curry. Book? The Musashi series, it's very good. Good action. Movie? The Rock and....National Treasure.

Angel: Spicy food, no thanks... But again, to each their own. Moving on. Let's talk pairings. *smirk*

Jack: ... Crazy girl say what now?

Angel: I am NOT crazy. *pout* I'm just hyperactive and I love what I do.

Jack: Alright alright, point taken.

Angel: Plus if I was crazy you'd be tied up to a bed and stripped naked.

Kei: She would do it too.

Jack: What about these... pairings?

Angel: Anyways, as I mentioned earlier, a number of fangirls, and I'm sure there are even some fanboys out there too, who enjoy pairing you up with Yusei. And just as many people seem to like putting you together with Carly.

Jack: I owe Carly alot. She did a lot for me and... It really hurt when I thought she'd died... even worse when I saw she was a Dark Signer.. I never wanted a nice girl like her as an enemy. And I never ever would see Yusei like that.

Angel: Well, again, the question remains, would you date her?

Jack: Maybe so long as she didn't try and chase off people or force me in to an interview

Angel: .... I could see it. But what about Mina? She's usually the third most popular person I've seen with you.

Jack: No. She was Goodwin's informant on me... Can't trust some one like that even if she had my best interests at heart.

Angel: Well, I think she just wanted to be close to you, but that's just me. Now what about some of the more... interesting pairings? I've found stuff with you and Akiza, Misty and Sherry sometimes.

Jack: Akiza? Never. She's too into Yusei. Misty? Too high maintainance. Gorgeous... and I feel bad for her, but no. Sherry? Why on earth would I want see a selfish spoiled cow like her?

Angel: I don't like Sherry that much either but I think that was a bit much. ... I didn't know you've seen Ever After.

Jack: One of Martha's favorites.

Angel: Ahhh. I love that movie. But what about some of the other boy-love pairings? Like you and Crow, or Kalin?

Jack: Gods no not Crow. He and I can barely speak to each other with out fighting. And Kalin? I just... I can't ever really for give him... but... at the same time I owe him a lot.

Angel: Kalin's still a friend, despite the past troubles. Right?

Jack: More Yusei's friend than mine anymore...

Angel: Still...

Jack: I suppose.

Angel: Anyways, last question.

Jack: Okay.

Angel: Would you please describe your ideal woman?

Jack: Uh... *blush* well I want a girl who's smart, but tough. but she's gotta be able to understand how I feel about my friends and my past Good looking would be a plus and able to help me relax.

Angel: Hmmm. I see. |

Crow: Kei!!! *waves* So this is where you've been.

Kei: Ehe? Yeah since sis dragged me on her Jack hunt, I've been busy so yeah... but wow... you look great. *blush*

Jack: So... is that it?

Crow: Hey, Yusei! Over here! I found them!

Angel: Essentially. There is ONE last little thing...

Jack: What is it?

Yusei: Hey you two! *coming over, dressed as Red Demon's Dragon*

Angel: *kisses Jack on the lips* That.

Crow: How many times did she end up glomping him?

Kei: Surprisingly only once.

Crow: Really? Damn...

Angel: Wow... Yusei you look amazing. Hey, since Sis and Crow are gonna be busy with the kids, maybe you two would wanna go catch a Midnight Movie?

Jack: How about Rocky Horror?

Yusei: Oh, I haven't seen that in a long time.

Angel: *happy squeak* You boys read my mind! Let's go! *drags Yusei and Jack off*
