Personality: A bit spoiled and sheltered, but she has a good heart with good intentions.

History: Between the ages of 5-9, Anya was found by Ellone wandering around the outskirts of the Sorceress Memorial. An orphan with nowhere to go, Ellone took Anya to Laguna to see what to do for the girl.

It was during the meeting with Laguna that Anya revealed something to them; She was a Sorceress. Having a power to conjure illusions through means of a catalyst, Anya's powers usually showed her images of her dead parents. Laguna, fearing for the child's mental state and possibly losing control of her powers, agreed to take care of her. He had Dr. Odine suppress Anya's powers, hoping that would help keep the girl stable.

As a young woman, Anya kept her powers suppressed for the longest time. It wasn't until meeting Squall and the others that she considered trying to gain control of her own powers and helping her 'brother' and his friends in their fight. It was during that time that she developed a crush on Irvine.


I've been working on my character for FFVIII for some time, and I FINALLY managed to finish today. This is one of Anya's two main outfits. I'm still in the process of designing the other. But this is her more 'formal' attire. Part of the inspiration, I guess, was Edea, who's elegant and beautiful whether she's being possessed or not.
