My first picture of my Yu-Gi-Oh GX OC Alice, and not what I had planned it on being. Her attire is actually related to something that happens in the third year (season 3).
When Jesse was seperated from the rest of the group, Alice was seperated as well, landing in an area of a dimension where she meets the spirits of her Wonderland deck. Her spirits, especially her Knight cards, begged for her help in stopping the Supreme King and his army of fiends. At first, Alice was hesitant to do so, wanting to find her boyfriend Jaden, her brother Amasis, and the rest of her friends. However, after seeing firsthand how cruel and dangerous the King was, Alice agreed to help her spirit friends fight. Thus, she took up the alias of the Red Queen, a title she had earned back at Duel Academy.
For the longest time, Alice was unaware of what was happening with Jaden and the others, until one of the raids that she and her group planned was comprimised and ended in a number of the spirits being captured as well as the death of one of their strongest allies, Mahado the Dark Magician. Determined to go rescue them and obtain revenge, Alice snuck into the King's fortress and demanded that he free her companions. She even wagered her own freedom in exchange for theirs, which the King accepted.
As the two 'royals' began to duel, Alice soon noticed the cards in the King's deck, and he in turn, noticed the ones in hers. At one point, when she still had the lead, Alice demanded to see the King's face... only to instantly regret it. Upon seeing that it was Jaden who was the Supreme King, Alice felt her heart breaking. Removing her own mask, Alice revealed herself to Jaden, begging him to stop what he was doing as the King. He refused and only continued the duel. Alice, still upset by the realization that she had been fighting Jaden the entire time, soon surrendered the duel, unable to fight the man she loved any longer. Her actions would lead to a nightmare that would last until the Supreme King's defeat.
Alice's armor has a lot of references to playing cards: the Spade on her mask, her red Diamond earring, Club belt charm, and her Heart shoulder guards. But the colored suits also reference her 'siblings'.
The Red Spade for her best friend and 'little sister', Arien.
The Blue Diamond for her older half-brother, Amasis.
The Gold Heart for her 'other brother', Rehu.
The reason there is no Green Club is because Alice herself is the one who represents that 'suit', and she doesn't need a reminder of herself, only her loved ones.
